Dressmaker Links Hub

This Links Hub is the allow-list for Dressmaker. Cozy Lives and Free Lives publish the game; this wiki only points at their pages and at community spaces they already advertise. If a search result wants you to “download Dressmaker APK” or “unlock Steam early,” it does not belong here. The Steam version is planned for 21 September 2026 and is not yet available to play. The only official playable build today is the itch.io prototype.

Official store and prototype

• Dressmaker on Steam — App 4019220. Wishlist, trailers, system requirements, and the 21 September 2026 date. Windows and macOS listed. Start here if you intend to buy. More context on Steam launch and price and wishlist.
• Dressmaker prototype on itch.io — Prototype 0.5.5 for Windows, macOS, and Linux, name-your-price. Authors listed as elyaradine, sarandipityx, and raithza. Devlog lives on the same page. Read prototype notes before you fight Gatekeeper on a Mac.

Those two URLs are the entire official download map. Everything else is social, press, or support.

Studio, press, and support

• Free Lives — Cape Town studio. Cozy Lives is the cozy label; Free Lives publishes Dressmaker.
• Dressmaker press kit — Fact sheet: Unity, South Africa, platforms, “can pet the cat,” team credits, and press contact. Use this if you are writing about the game rather than scraping Steam HTML.
• Cozy Lives Linktree — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, Steam wishlist, itch.io, Reddit, and the content-creator form for embargoed press builds.
• Support: support@freelives.net — Purchase mix-ups, press, and genuine bugs after you have a real install. It is not a key vending machine for prototype payers.

Community and video

• Dressmaker Discord — Official server linked from the press kit and Linktree. Playtest pings and bug talk belong here, with the version number in your sentence (0.5.5 versus Steam).
• r/Dressmaker — Community subreddit listed on the Linktree. Fan screenshots and advice; still not a download mirror.
• Cozy Lives on YouTube — Official trailers and studio uploads. This wiki’s homepage carries the release-date trailer; individual guide pages do not restack it.

When a creator form is open, it sits on the Linktree. There is no follower minimum advertised; style of content is the filter. If you are not contacted, the studio still asked you not to treat silence as a snub.

Do not click these

APKs, “Dressmaker mobile,” and console ports. There is no official phone or console build. Android packages with this name are unrelated dress-up clones or malware.

Reuploaded zips on random file hosts. The prototype is already name-your-price. A “0.5.5 full unlocked” rar is not a better prototype. Compare file names to the itch.io list (Windows / OSX / Linux 0.5.5 zips).

Key shops and “pre-load Steam unlockers.” Until the store sells the app, there is no legitimate grey-market key. Check developer Cozy Lives, publisher Free Lives, app 4019220 so you do not buy a different DressMaker from 2021.

Ad overlays on video sites. A big red DOWNLOAD button under a gameplay clip is usually an affiliate maze. Pause, open Steam or itch.io in a fresh tab, and type the URL yourself.

How this wiki uses the links

Dates, price, and platform flags always lose to Steam and to the itch.io file list. The Updates Hub summarizes them; this page is where you verify. Hardware questions go to system requirements. Sewing questions go to how to play, not to a Discord pin from 2025 that predates 0.5.5.

If a link above dies, look at the Linktree next, then the Free Lives site. Do not “helpfully” replace an official URL with a fan mirror. This hub stays small on purpose: two downloads, one studio, one press kit, one mail, one Discord, one subreddit, one YouTube, one Linktree. That is enough to sew, wishlist, and ask for help without wandering into an APK sidebar. Bookmark it next to your fabric ranks, and when someone in chat drops a suspicious zip, paste this page instead of testing the file for them.
